The Indigistream story…

It all started when…

I left the national broadcaster, the ABC. My role was with the national Indigenous radio program “Speaking Out”, as the producer and host.

The stories from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, events and news was encapsulated of several weeks of programming to highlight the amazing work done by my past producers, hosts and guests.

The social media accounts were built and delivered video stories from locations in the Torres Straits, Cairns Indigenous Art Fair and many other places and events.

This work continues today and Indigistream’s production arm has produced content for broadcasters, state and federal governments departments and community organisations.

I have a trusted Indigenous team I call on for major projects. And meet deadlines within budget.

In 2019 I graduated with a Graduate Certificate in Writing, Editing, Publishing at The University of Queensland and am currently finishing my PhD (by Creative Practice) at Queensland University of Technology producing a documentary titled: Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP): Improving the legal management of media content about/with Indigenous Australians in the School of Law, Faculty of Business and Law.
