National Indigenous Golf Championship for 2014
he National Indigenous Golf Tournament was co-founded in 1979 in Victoria by former Carlton footballer Syd Jackson. The tournament is held annually at changing locations in Australia.
The Championship attracts Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from all corners of the country to gather, renew and create friendships, craft memories and embellish stories of their golfing experiences.
In 2014 the Championships will be played from 3-6 November at the Meadow Springs Golf and Country Club, Meadow Springs, Western Australia.
Celebrity Pro Am:
On Sunday 2 November 2014, all Championship entrants are invited to participant in a Celebrity Pro Am hosted by the Championship Committee. The Pro Am will be a 12 noon Shotgun start and players are advised to book in early by telephoning the Nyoongar Golf Club on (08) 9359 1587. A maximum field of 144 players including the celebrities will be the cut off. Book early.
